Our Staff

Bari-Sue is originally from Long Island, NY and has been a resident of Tampa since 2001. She earned a degree in Advertising Art and Design from the State University of New York. After arriving in Florida, Bari-Sue found the opportunity to become a Family Counselor. She finds it rewarding to assist families in helping them cope with difficult decisions and using her creative talents to memorialize their loved ones.

Ed earned a Bachelors Degree in 1992 from the University of Pittsburgh and is a 1994 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer who joined Blount & Curry Funeral Home in 2006 and accepted the position of Manager in 2010. Ed is a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and the Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Wesley Chapel with his wife and son.

Jim graduated in 1972 from Miami-Dade College of Mortuary Science and earned a Bachelors Degree in 1984 from USF. He is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, joining Blount & Curry in 2010. Jim is a member of the Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce, a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus - Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus - Assembly 3026 Tampa. Jim and his wife live in Carrollwood.
